Do you think we could change the talk pages to comments? Talk pages are kind of hard because not many people read them since they're a seperate page. Do you know how to switch from those to comments at the bottom?
Oh, I thought you said you couldn't take screenshots? Well I guess you figured it out. Yes, it's very simple on iPhone and iPod. Maybe we could just increase the scale a little bit, since everything else is going to be pixelated.
Hey, let me handle the badges' images, if that's alright. I can cut out the units so we can center it and not have the background stuff. I'll probably just set it to a green background to match the wiki's skin.
Also, what's photoimpact? My smart cutter can't do it because the colors aren't distinct enough. I don't think any program in the world can cut that out completely on its own, the stick guy is just too small. He's only one pixel wide.
Thus, everything pretty much has to be done manually.
If it doesn't work, then I'll leave the background, but try to make it fit the badge better by feathering the edges and blending everything together, rather than a stark contrast, if you know what I mean.
I thought we agreed to use the Quotation Template for the games description, and use the standard way for the Wiki's description. Since CW1 doesn't give descriptions of units, we won't need the Quote, OK?
Hey, SPX, got some new stuff. I have a template made, and I'm going to make five more, for specific types of units' pages. You can check out details in the rules when I get it posted. But I'm just letting you know that I'd like us to use these templates for page creations, to keep uniformity.
Ok, so basically you loaded the template onto the page, right? That's great, but it's not editable, so we can't use that method. The links are provided at the top of the edit box, and when you use those links, everything can be easily edited.
I found an official Wiki were people will help your Wiki look "fancier." The home page, at least. You and I can handle the rest.
They would really be able to help, I think. The front page could look a whole lote better, and I don't know how to make a page for a unit the best way possible. They have certain requirments, and one is that the wiki must have 50 pages.
So here's my suggestion: We pretty much don't worry about the design of the Wiki, but instead focus on content. Once we have a good amount, then we can to those people and get some help making it look better. Once we've got organization down, then we can add the rest of the content easily. After that, we can contact Blue and see what they think. If we're lucky, they may provide us with some official artwork to use, which would make the Wiki even better.
What do you think of this? I think it's a pretty good gameplan for the long-term goals of the Wiki.
